Much of the fluid mechanics work performed for the oil and gas industry involves issues related to oil wells or gas wells, since most wells flow a combination of oil and gas throughout the productive life of the well. This includes experimental investigations and paper studies of problems related to production of gas from onshore and offshore wells.
