Hybrid Circuits--Thick Film

The SwRI Component-Analysis Group (Div. 14) performs failure analyses and construction analyses of thick-film hybrid devices. Exterior visual inspection, x-radiography, particle-impact-noise detection (PIND), hermeticity testing, decapsulation, interior visual inspection with magnification, scanning-electron microscopy, and cross sectioning are typical analytical operations performed on thick-film hybrid devices by the Component-Analysis Group.
