Intelligent Vehicle Systems (IVS) including: Development of unmanned/autonomous operations, active safety systems, cooperative vehicle systems, and mobile robotics engineering. Facilities include: two vehicle bays, re-radiated GPS, computing and development workstations, broad range of test equipment to evaluate component performance characteristics, and on-site test track (with Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC) for urban environment system testing and two power and fiber optics towers connected to the track building and our facility network).
