| Life cycle testing includes the testing of components under a variety of environmental conditions representative of the conditions seen by the components. This includes activities during manufacture, transportation, storage, usage, and disposition. Facilities to test component and small systems under environmental conditions including: temperature, humidity, corrosive atmosphere, altitude, vibration, shock, sand and dust, solar radiation, immersion, EMI and EMC, and rain. Specialized testing can be performed to satisfy the client requirements to meet the life cycle of specialized components. Function testing of the components can be performed during the environmental testing to demonstrate that the performance is not degraded. |
