Clean Energy Systems Fellowship Opportunity

Rancho Cordova, CA

  1. Perform CES Zero Emissions Power Plant Cycle Studies using ASPEN-PLUS or EES (Engineering Equation Solver) programs.

  2. Review test results from CES's Kimberlina oxy-fuel gas turbine (GT), gas generator (GG) and reheat combustor (RH) development and demonstration testing.

  3. Participate in the design conversion studies of the J79 40 MWe GT and SGT900  150 MWe  GT and their application to Zero Emission Power Plants (ZEPPs)

  4. Participate in Kimberlina testing of new combustor designs for Blast Furnace Gas (BFG), glycerin, syn-gas and low heating value liquid fuels.

  5. Participate in the development of advanced high-temperature Oxy-Fuel Gas Turbines and Reheat Combustors.
