SwRI researchers use integrated corridor management solutions to improve traffic incident response through data fusion and analysis of third-party and crowdsourced data. In the case of an incident, a traffic management center (TMC) can provide alternate route information to drivers via dynamic message signs and short-range radio broadcasts from roadside units (RSUs).
