Free Webinar: Bayesian Statistics
Join us Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at 12:00 p.m.–1:00 p.m. (U.S. Central Time)
Host: Erin DeCarlo
This webinar will give an introduction and overview of the use of Bayesian statistics to support uncertainty quantification for engineering applications. Bayesian analysis provides a framework for quantifying uncertainties that are due to limited data. We will review the categorization of uncertainties as aleatory and epistemic and discuss examples of some of the many ways that Bayesian methods can be applied towards real-world problems in engineering.
