Coriolis Meter Fundamentals and Applications for Oil and Gas Measurement Free Webinar at noon on May 22

Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at noon Central Time

Multiple flow meter technologies exist to measure oil and natural gas flows. However, most measurement technologies do not directly measure the mass flow rate of a fluid, but must rely on additional physical measurements and fluid property correlations to determine the total mass (or “standard” volume) of the fluid. Coriolis meters are unique because they directly measure the mass flow rate of the fluid. As a result, the need for some auxiliary measurements can be eliminated, which can reduce the overall uncertainty of the measurement. This presentation will provide an overview of the measurement principles of Coriolis meters, along with the operational considerations and diagnostic capabilities for these meters.
