Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) has expanded its flow component testing capabilities to include supercritical carbon dioxide (sCO₂) environments. In addition to conducting the flow testing, Dr. Raouf Tajik, an SwRI research engineer, and Jacqueline Manders, P.E., an assistant program manager in SwRI’s Thermofluids Section, helped develop a computational fluid dynamics model for virtual evaluations.
