The Advanced Military Measure of Olfaction (AMMO) test kit is a novel medical device developed at SwRI in conjunction with the Henry M. Jackson Foundation and the AFRL as a screening tool for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). The AMMO test kit is small, lightweight, low tech, and can be administered in both far-forward austere/Role 1 environments and in the clinic in under two minutes without special storage requirements or cold chain logistics. The AMMO test kit offers medical and command personnel an objective data point to inform return to duty or elevation of care decisions in the field. Come by our booth for a demonstration.
