Method for Measuring Forces Within a System

Abstract

This invention relates to a method for the determination of forces acting on components of a fluid system which may be subjected to acoustic pressure pulsations. In one of its aspects, the invention relates to a method for determining the unbalanced forces resulting from such pulsations acting on a vessel and tending to cause it to mechanically vibrate. In still another aspect, the invention relates to such a method for determining the tension to which such a vessel is subjected by accoustic pressure pulsations acting theron.
