Businessman using digital padlock to secure his data

Overview

In response to escalating attacks, we have invited a top official from the Department of Commerce to join us for a special presentation and workshop on Cybersecurity with the hope that you keep your facility safe from threats. According to NIST:

  • The average cost a manufacturer pays to overcome a data breach is $38,000
  • 55% of small businesses will experience a breach or a cyberattack

The first part of the workshop will provide an overview of best practices, including understanding threats, protective actions, and recovery. The second half of the morning will be more technical, specifically geared for those that are interested in implementing a robust deterrent system, and manufacturers that supply the Department of Defense, GSA or NASA which are required to be compliant to DFAR SP800-171.

Participants of this workshop that are defense suppliers may be eligible to receive grant-funded TMAC consulting to review and implement the requirements (inquire if interested).
