Field performance testing is frequently needed to confirm aerodynamic and mechanical performance of new machinery and can also be applied to monitor long-term machinery performance, track degradation patterns, and determine appropriate maintenance. It is necessary to use appropriate instrumentation and installation practices to obtain useful data. Accurate performance calculations depend on methodology (including equation of state) and performing an uncertainty analysis. This webinar provides an overview of the process and performance calculations considering recommendations from the ASME PTC standards.
