Southwest Research Institute® (SwRI®) is an independent, nonprofit applied R&D organization headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. SwRI provides contract R&D services to include the development and testing of custom microencapsulated and controlled release formulations. Additional services include CGMP manufacturing of clinical supplies, process optimization and scale-up, medical device development, modeling, synthesis, and analytical support.
