Overview
This introductory course provides a great foundation to Inventory Management. Participants will have exposure to the necessary tools to effectively manage supply chain activities, including suppliers, plans, distributors, and customers. Topics covered include inventory usage, inventory costing methods, inventory management techniques, cycle counts, critical elements of good inventory system, inventory replenishment, types of inventory, and inventory definitions. The skills needed to create consistency and foster collaboration through best practices, common terminology, and corporate communication will be discussed.
