Free Webinar: Space Fluids: Alien, Yet Closer to Home than you May Think
Join us Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 12:00 p.m.–1:00 p.m. (U.S. Central Time)
Host: Emilio Gordon
This talk will discuss interesting applications of various fluids used in the space industry, addressing systems anywhere between launch and deep space. A particular focus will be placed on fluids for propulsion systems and human use. Since these fluids can behave quite uniquely in space applications relative to what we are accustomed to on Earth, some analogs to more familiar industries closer to home will be made in attempt to make them more relatable. This type of discipline cross-pollination can bring some welcome understanding and even advance technologies in exciting ways.
