Free Webinar: Wet Gas Compression

Join us Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.–1:00 p.m. (U.S. Central Time)

Host: Kelsi Katcher

Gas compression processes across multiple industries are occasionally subject to wet gas operating conditions (i.e., a gaseous flow contains an amount of liquid water and/or condensate). In most cases, these processes include separation or filtration devices upstream of compression equipment to remove liquids. However, for a variety of reasons, wet gas flows can still occur downstream of separation equipment and will impact the performance and reliability of the machinery. In some recent cases, compression machinery has been designed to operate in wet gas conditions.

This webinar provides an overview of several different wet gas topics that are of importance to the gas compression industry. Join us as we review fundamentals of wet gas flows and discuss compressor performance trends identified in the open literature. We will also discuss emerging technologies that offer wet gas compressors as an alternative to typical systems that relay on liquid separation schemes.
