Overview
Individual SFPOF vs Flight Hours
The PROF (PRobability Of Fracture) Risk Analysis Training Course provides a practical introduction to probabilistic damage tolerance and structural risk analysis using the PROF software. Developed by UDRI and funded by the USAF, PROF is used to quantify structural risk in support of the Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP). This short course guides participants through theory, input development, analysis techniques, and interpretation of risk outputs, including Single Flight Probability of Failure (SFPOF) and cumulative Probability of Failure (POF).
Who Should Attend
This course is intended for aircraft sustainment engineers, analysts, and program managers supporting USAF ASIP activities. Prior experience with deterministic damage tolerance analysis is recommended but not required.
