Penetration Mechanics Short Course Arrangements

 

Registration

Registration should be done as soon as possible. Enrollment is limited to a first-come, first-served basis. To register, please complete the online registration form and indicate your method of payment. Letters of acknowledgement will be sent immediately following enrollment. Additional information will be sent approximately one month prior to the course.

Time & Place

Check-in will be 8:00 a.m. on the first day at the building 263 first floor conference room on the SwRI campus in San Antonio, Texas. Maps will be provided to all registrants. Classes will meet from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to noon on Friday. Ample parking exists at the Institute.

Tuition/Refunds

A tuition fee of $2,950 is required to cover instruction expenses. The tuition fee covers SwRI expenses, instructors' fees, one set of lecture notes, and all handouts. Lodging, air travel, transportation, and meals are the student's responsibility. Students canceling three weeks before the course (February 11, 2019) will be assessed a $250 penalty. Students canceling after February 11, 2019, will be assessed the entire registration fee; however, student substitution is possible without incurring any penalty.

Please make your reservations by February 11, 2019, to ensure availability. When making your reservation at the recommended hotels, mention that you will be attending the Penetration Mechanics Short Course at SwRI to get these rates. Should you prefer to make other arrangements for yourself near SwRI or Downtown San Antonio, you may visit the website at www.alamocityhotels.com. Complimentary coffee will be provided each morning of the course and refreshments will be provided at each break. A social hour is scheduled at the end of the first day. There will be a course banquet dinner (business casual attire) in the middle of the week.
